#WTACH THE LIAR GAME JAPANESE DRAMA SERIES#

I, on the other side I am glad I took the risk.Trailer of “The Squid Game”, South Korean Netflix series WHEN HWANG DONG-HYUK HAD TO SELL HIS LAPTOP TO SURVIVEīefore he is recognized around the world for his masterpiece on Netflix, Hwang Dong-hyuk he had already been awarded some awards in Seoul. I generally think that a lot of people missed on this great drama by thinking about comparison to Japanese. But maybe it was intentional and we will discover more in sequel. It would give us a better idea what happened to Do Young. I am a bit upset that we didn’t get to know more regarding how was looking the experiment. Thinking that a “child” who was a part of behavioral experiment similar to utopian and fictional Walden Two, was now creepy, fully controlling emotions adult earned from me loads of points. Idea of Walden Two was used brilliantly and made me doing research on this subject. It also explained the game a bit better and took our eyes from wanting a romance. I think it was much more intense in Korean version than Japanese. I think Korean Liar Game had really strong background story. How someone said this guy is confusing – extremely attractive but act the role a bit to well…. It’s second drama with Sung Rok, where he portrayed bad character and let me tell you, these one was far more challenging and he did it perfectly.

It’s high possibility that thanks to Shin Sung Rok, the character was amazingly believable and creepy at the same time. Damn it felt like he was the one who was making me want to watch more of drama.

I need to prize here the character of Do Young. If it comes to main female lead the characterin Korean version was less annoying but maybe a bit plain? I was still more affected by Lee Sang Yoon that I thought, since I was quite disappointed with the choice of cast at the beginning. Shota Matsudahad that specific face, emotions and was hard to read while character portrayed in Korean version by Lee SangYoon seemed to lack something. If I supposed to look at characters and compare them, unfortunately WooJin wasn’t better than Akayama. It was really good feeling because I was expect the same plot, just different actors, but I actually found myself feeling like I was watching totally different drama. Used games where also similar but the change of order as well as their modification got me highly by surprise. Basically I could recognize who represent which character in Japanese Liar Game, like for example Jamie. What surprise me the most It’s one of this drama’s that is similar but totally different, which doesn’t make sense at all. The reason for watching was simple – I am a big fan of Japanese version where Shota Matsuda affected me for weeks after I ended the series and movies.

I think my opinion about this version is totally different that I was expecting.
